Description

The Parameras de Molina and the Alto Tajo Natural Park are the ideal destination to find a great variety of raptors, as they combine diverse habitats, from vast cereal plains to the dense forests and gorges of the Tagus River.

Nocturnal and diurnal raptors, resident or seasonal. We can spot large species such as the golden eagle or smaller inhabitants like the common scops owl.

Depending on the time of year, we will discover hen harriers, kestrels, kites, Montagu’s harriers, Egyptian vultures, short-toed eagles, and more.

Not forgetting the nocturnal birds of prey: eagle owls, short-eared owls, short-eared owls, barn owls, scops owls, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

From the meeting point, we will travel by vehicle along local roads and well-paved tracks, making short journeys and several stops at key observation points.

Birdwatching is all about chance. The area we'll be exploring has one of the best habitats for spotting different species of raptors, which we're sure to see flying overhead and even perched on the ground.

You’ll be amazed at how close we can get to some of these birds. In other cases, we’ll use binoculars, telescopes, and other gear. You can also bring your own if you want. Plus, our guides are really experienced in spotting and identifying birds, and they always carry field guides and educational materials to help you know exactly which bird you’re looking at.

Of course! Let me know what you're interested in and we'll work it out for you.
