I had planned the perfect week. Several days photographing landscapes in one of my favorite natural parks. Another day photographing the Iberian wolf in the Guadarrama Mountains. Night shots using a trail camera for the first time... and nothing turned out as expected. It didn't stop raining for 48 hours. I couldn't use the surveillance camera or photograph landscapes. And in the mountains, the wolves didn't appear all day. The perfect week turned into a week of photographic frustration. And that got me thinking. Why not write about the specific frustrations of the nature photographer?
